Solid wood profile post with one groove (groove) in NTR-A quality. Color-treated and wood preservative-treated cross-laminated timber post made of pine/spruce. The wood – as can be seen in the grain in the picture – is cut lengthwise from a quarter of a tree. This wood is more durable and stable than randomly cut timber. NTR-A means that the post can be buried directly in the ground, if desired, as it is effectively protected against rot and fungal growth. The edges are chamfered.
Factory pre-treated with fungicide and coated with black paint.

This well-known Danish fence series is made from slow-growing, northern Swedish spruce/pine. Nordic spruce/pine has the advantage of being more durable than its faster-growing counterparts in the south. Naturally, it is sustainably sourced. The slow growth gives the wood great strength and longevity, and the closed-cell structure means that the wood does not absorb any water.
