You need at least two stringers, cut-to-size decking boards, and steel screws to build a staircase. Staircases of any width are possible; the recommended stringer spacing is approximately 60 cm. A terrace staircase is more than just a necessary element; it's also a popular seating area, and if attractively designed, it invites you to rest and relax. With these stringers, you can build cantilevered staircases quickly, as the step width and rise are already calculated.
