Exclusive mahogany handrail made of Sipo mahogany with a 45-degree miter cut (left) for corners. For a perfect 90-degree corner, the corresponding piece with a 45-degree miter cut (right) is also required. Designed for the Plus railing system. Finely sanded and oiled, it has a strikingly elegant feel and appearance. The wood grain is quite subtle, and the color—typical of mahogany—is reddish. The handrails are part of the perfectly coordinated Plus railing system and are screwed onto the mounting plates on the steel posts. The mahogany handrails can be combined with a secure steel mesh and, in private homes, also with a glass fence panel.
For safety reasons, the fastening of the railings – like all handrails – should be inspected annually. If the railing is installed outdoors, an annual coat of colorless, oil-based wood preservative is necessary to maintain the wood's beauty.
