Ingenious concept: The backrest set includes all components for quick and easy installation on an existing Plus plank bench from the Alpha, Basic, or Wega series. This significantly increases the comfort of your plank furniture in the garden, on the patio, or in your relaxation area. Since it's a brand-name product, you can even purchase a seating set first and add the backrests later. For even greater comfort, the backrest is angled.
Grey planks made from textured, splinter-free upcycled plastic. Colorfast. A sophisticated, patented recycling process transforms textile returns and collections into a superior plastic material. Like conventional plastics, it is available in various colors as granules. Retex is a robust upcycled plastic manufactured in Europe.
Retex products are therefore sustainable and ideally suited to changing weather conditions. Planks subject to stress are reinforced on the underside with galvanized steel. Due to the material properties, the planks expand by up to 0.5 cm under heat, but return to their original shape and size at normal temperatures.

Upcycling plastic tips
The plastic can expand from 2.6 to 5.2 mm per meter at temperatures between 20 and 40 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the planks are reinforced with steel on the underside. The planks are colorfast, but may develop a matte finish over time. Proper care will significantly extend this lifespan. All planks are splinter-free, with no cracks or splits. Maintenance-free; simply clean with water.
