3-step stair stringer made of impregnated solid wood for outdoor use | 75 x 31 cm
The Plus A/S stair stringer is a super-practical problem solver for patios and balconies. It was designed to bridge the height difference between a wooden deck and the lawn or lower ground. It's ideal for anyone who wants to avoid the tedious process of creating templates when building temporary stairs or garden steps. And because it's also affordable, the stair stringer is so popular.
Available in lengths from 2 to 7 steps.
Construction of a garden, terrace / temporary staircase using the stringers from plus.
You will need at least two stringers, shortened decking boards, and wood screws (e.g., Torx) to build a staircase. Wider staircases are also possible; the recommended stringer spacing is approximately 60 cm.
Here you can insert the stair stringer.
- The terrace steps bridge the difference in height between the terrace and the lawn.
- The external staircase bridges the difference in height between the side entrance door and the garden or yard.
- The staircase on the steep terrain ensures safe ascent/descent.
- The auxiliary staircase can be mobile, instead of scaffolding.
- The classic scenario: New construction or renovation is almost finished, you move in, and in front of the brand new front door there's a nice little mud and tripping hazard or a wobbly wooden beam...
- We welcome further examples of use, please write to us.

Important information (please read)
The product is not designed for beauty, but for perfect functionality - hence the low price.
You might want to clean the stair stringer before installation. That's perfectly fine – but please note that wooden decking should generally be dried outdoors in the sun, or under a roof in bad weather.
If the stair stringer is to be used as a cellar staircase contrary to the original design, the wood must be thoroughly dried as described above.
