Steel wedges for hammer handles, pneumatic hammers, blacksmith's hammers, and axe handles. The SK12 SB wedge is compatible with the following Hultafors products: Z 1200, Z 2000, B 600, 800, ME 1000, ME 1200, ME 1500, M 600, KP 650, and KP 750.

The SK12 is a specialized round wedge made of hardened steel, designed for the permanent fixing of tool heads to wooden handles. Unlike flat wedges, its circular geometry causes the wood to spread evenly in all directions (360 degrees). This ensures a durable, force-fit connection and prevents the axe head from loosening due to material shrinkage or mechanical stress.

Application and use
If the head of a hammer or axe has come loose, use the Hultafors round wedge (12 mm, 2-pack). Tap the steel wedge into the handle of the hammer or axe from above. Then check that the tool head is secure. The steel wedge has a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 18 mm.
